"My parents instilled in me at an early age the importance to do our part in giving back and serving our community while remaining grounded in our faith. I am a lifetime resident of this wonderful community and proud of having served the past 17 years as both a police officer and now the justice of the peace. It remains important to both my wife Ashley and me to do the same with our children. We hope that we bless others and that our children will carry on serving their community throughout their lives as well."

COMMUNITY SERVICE AND GIVING BACK
"Winter Storm 2021"
The winter storm of 2021 left many families across the state without power and water for days. My wife Ashley and I knew we had to do something to help our community. After making some calls and gathering people together to assist in the distribution we were able to purchase $2000 worth of non-perishable food and cases of water from the Tarrant County Foodbank. We partnered with Servolution, Creek Church, and the Church of Azle to get the food and water passed out to community residents and involved our two small children in taking part in giving back and community service. Knowing that many were still in need of water I was proud to join other volunteers at a local City of Fort Worth distribution location to assist in getting several more pallets of water distributed to residents and other community churches in need.
"PYBSA 10U Mustang Pioneers"
I truly enjoy being able to give back to the community and the youth in our community! This is Coach Efren Breumen and his son with the PYBSA 10U Mustang Pioneers who qualified for State in Houston. I am honored to be able to donate and help them in their hunt for the State Championship.
"Tarrant County Livestock Show"
Supporting a great cause at the "Tarrant County Livestock Show" with my family along with Constable Jody Johnson and wife Jill Johnson.
The purpose of the show and sale is to encourage and provide a learning experience about feeding and showing livestock for the youth of Tarrant County, thus providing valuable training in sportsmanship, leadership, citizenship, self-esteem, and social skills.
"Recognition and Lifesaving Award"
Tarrant County Deputy Constable Darrell Carothers was recognized with the "Lifesaving Award." On August 25, 2020, a citizen who had visited JP #4 court was in a medical emergency on the second floor of the sub-courthouse building. Deputy Carothers jumped into action when he observed the citizen on the floor and began to administer lifesaving measures. Due to Deputy Carothers's quick action, a citizen of this precinct's life was preserved. Deputy Carothers's actions bring great credit to his uniform as a Peace Officer and a fellow human being.
Thank you Deputy Carothers for your selfless action in the preservation of life!
"A Day in the Courtroom"
Honored to have the Lake Worth Law Enforcement class participating in “A Day in the Courtroom”. The students were taught the many functions the court has as well as observing live hearings and trials. I believe it’s truly important to teach our youth the functions their elected officials perform for them each day. It was truly an honor to have them and teach them about the JP 4 court.
"Building Community Together"
Constable Jody Johnson and I along with the Community Food Bank partnered together to provide a much-needed food supply for the Lake Worth ISD - 10 pallets = 7,000 meals! This is about building and bringing the community together.
"Community Servants Helping the Citizens"
I had the amazing pleasure along with Servolution Network and Jody Johnson, Constable Precinct 4 to deliver 2 pallets of food to Cassandra McBrayer Darst at the Lake Worth Independent School District to feed kids for summer break. Each pallet contains almost 1000 meals which will be distributed out by Lake Worth ISD. Next week we will have the opportunity to deliver 10 more pallets to the school!! This is helping feed hungry kids over the summer break that would otherwise go without food. I want to thank Constable Jody Johnson and Servolution for joining in and assisting with this endeavor. At its grassroots this is true public service to the citizens of Precinct 4. THANK YOU Community Food Bank FOR PAYING IT FORWARD!

"Calling Our Communities to Action to Assist Hurricane Harvey Victims"
Our city is on alert and ready. Check the link below to see what areas you may help out in and lets keep the prayers going strong! More storms are coming to their area and still so many awaiting rescue. Also, both Trinity Ordnance in Lake Worth and Servolution Network in Azle are currently accepting donated items and sending trucks down this week to the effected areas. Lets all do our part! God Bless Texas and our neighbors in need!
"No One Fights Alone"
My family and I were deeply honored to support the fundraiser for Officer Brian Benningfield an 18-year veteran of the Lake Worth Police Department and his battle to fight cancer. Coming together as a community to show our support & help raise funds for Brian and his family during their time of need.
"Supporting Our Youth"
While out selling raffle tickets with my granddaughter this weekend for her softball team, we ran into this great man! I was not surprised at all when he agreed to buy the last 6 of her tickets. He's always been a great supporter of the area youth including my kids. I've known this man for over 20+ years and he's one of the best! He was a great mentor to my son growing up (who is now one of Ft Worth PD finest thanks to this man's influence through the years). I have no doubt he will do a fantastic job as JP! It's time for change and this is the man to do it. Now Everyone needs to get out and vote for him!!
